With your choice of two metals, five collar sizes, three interchangeable chain lengths, and custom matching pendants, it offers maximum customization and comfort—with a head-turning Metalhead edge.
STEP 1
Choose your collar
A handmade. hammered, front-clasping collar is the foundation of the By a Thread System. Choose between Sterling Silver or 14K Gold-Filled and five collar sizes for the perfect fit.
STEP 2
Add on your chains
Chains are fully removable + interchangeable and come in three sizes: Small: 4", Medium: 6", and Long: 8". Order multiple lengths so that every pendant lays where you want it. You can even layer up to two chain lengths at once for double pendant layered look.

Create your custom pendant(s)
Choose from an array of unique gems to create one-of-a-kind custom pendants that match your drop chain collar, all set in my signature tattered Metalhead bezels. Order multiple pendants to turn your Buy a Thread Collar into the ultimate necklace for any outfit.

Mix and match with pendants and rings you already own
Rings of any size and pendants with a bail inner diameter of 2.8 mm or larger slide onto your By a Thread chains for elegant display and safekeeping.
