Distraction/Destruction / Labradorite & Silver Front-Clasping Necklace

This clasp took forever to figure out but I love how it turned out! This one-of-a-kind piece features a gorgeous hunk of labradorite and two cascading irregular quadrilaterals that mimick its shape. The labradorite in a bezel & claw setting makes up one side of the pendant, which acts as the receiving end of the clasp. On the other side is a split, textured, and stitched silver quadrilateral, intercepted by a square wire quadrilateral that acts as the giving end of the clasp. The giving end goes over the top of the labradorite and fits in snug with a double key & hole situation. Once you get how it works, it is simple and easy to clasp (I will send a video for reference). Finished on a handmade round and square wire chain with quadrilateral links, this necklace is a truly badass work of wearable art that took 5 days to create!
