Holding it Together / Sterling Silver, 14K Gold, & Labradorite Necklace

A curved and cornered length of textured silver is fractured into tatters, held together by tiny stitches of silver and 14K gold. A crack of negative space reveals glimpses of the wearer beneath, leading down to a diamond of smoky labradorite set in a tattered bezel and prongs, flickering with blue, green, and golden yellow. All of this hangs on a collar saw-cut recessed stitch and balled silver accents. This one-of-a-kind work of art is damaged but beautiful, rough but sexy, deconstructed but meticulously engineered.
