Martian Regolith Cuff / Confetti Chrysocolla with Native Copper, Sterling Silver

A Reuleaux triangle of confetti chrysocolla--plumes of green-blue and white with Native copper inclusions--explodes through a cuff of textured, patinated copper. Radiating in it's wake, tears of copper upend to reveal shards of of bright, contrasting silver. This cuff is a bold, edgy, and completely one-of-a-kind collector's piece. 
 
This one pushed me technically in ways I haven’t explored before—balancing the rawness of the torn copper with a structure that actually holds and wears well took multiple reworks. One-of-a-kind, novel work is always a struggle but it is what drives me!
