Vortex Necklace / Andamooka Opal in Quartz & Sterling Silver

For my final act of 2025, I give you a one-of-a-kind piece featuring a rare Andamooka Opal in Quartz, mined and cut by McNamara Gems. 
 
A length of torn, jagged silver, textured with silver dust on the inside, swirls inward before reaching that gorgeous oval of Andamooka Opal in Quartz, wrapping it in its jagged grip. This sits atop a backplate of bright silver with torn silver cutouts that follow the vertical swirl. A strip of tattered silver, this time textured on the outside and bright on the inside, swirls into a bail that hangs on a chain length of your choosing, finished with a handmade hook clasp. 
 
The Opal alone is valued at $250. With silver priced at $72/oz and rising, this heirloom piece is not only a badass work of wearable art but also a great investment ;).
