Secure Detachment / Convertible Caged Pearl Drop Studs / 2-In-One Earrings

Phewwwww...every part of these convertible earrings was difficult (and nervewracking) to figure out but I'm obseeeeeesssssed with how they turned out! Each earring is composed of two separate pieces--a stud and an attachable drop pearl dangle. The studs are oval orbs composed of layers of disconnected and disjointed silver wire. Wear the studs alone for edgy everyday elegance or attach the drop pearl dangles via a hidden "clasp" at the bottom/back of the stud for a bold and beautiful drama. Each dangle features a half-drilled oval pearl, captured in a cup setting inside an a larger oval orb, which dangles from handmade beaded wire chain links.
