Torn Up Inside / Front-Clasping Opal Doublet Necklace

This statement stunner took me five days to complete and was one of my trickiest engineering feats yet. Half moons comprised of layers of tattered half-smooth and half-textured silver sheet are stitched together and united by a gorgeaous marquis opal + himalayan crystan doublet that sits atop a one-of-a-kind keyhole box clasp with catch. Finished with a handmade beaded wire chain (choose your length--pictured here at 16"), this necklace is a dark, edgy, elegant, and completely unique work of wearable art.
